Who We Are
The Barry County Great Start Collaborative is a partnership of community agencies and early childhood providers who get together to establish and maintain a network of supports and services for you children and families. The Collaborative:
- Engage community partners in the planning and coordinationof services
- Address the factors that influence a child's readiness for school and life
- Promote community awareness of early childhood issues
- Advocate for quality early childhood programs and services
Mission
The purpose of the Great Start Collaborative is to assure a coordinated system of community resources and supports to help all Barry County families provide a great start for their children from the prenatal period through kindergarten entry.
Vision
A Great Start for every child in Barry County: safe, healthy, and eager to succeed in school and in life.
