Have you seen the Early Childhood Transit Bus?

See What participants have to say...
Patty Woods, Hastings City Bank. "Having my picture on the EC transit bus recently has brought out lots of interesting comments such as "I waived at you, but didn't wave back!" In the process I have been able to talk to a variety of people explaining why I am on the bus. As a former teacher I believe in early childhood education as it may bring our areas that need intervention prior to beginning kindergarten. The these young people are our future workers and they should have all the resources available to them as soon as possible."
Dave McIntyer, WBCH Radio. "Investing into a child is the best investment you'll ever make. Children need to know that we as adults love and care for them. I hope my smile tells those who see the picture, know that it's for them, we care!"
Karen Jousma, Child Abuse Prevention Council. "Positive early childhood experiences are critical to the healthy, productive, loving, learning future of our children today and their becoming nurturing adults who raise the next generation. We as a community look to be leaders in the protection, nurturing, educating, and health of children. As a mother and grandmother I believe we need to work together to make sure it comes about. By being on the bus I hope people will ask me how they can help make a difference in our children’s lives."
Dr. Joseph Roth
Sally Keller, Noah's Ark Preschool Teacher. "I support Early Childhood programs in Barry Couty because it's my job . . . and my life's committment! The Early Years are critical in developing young children cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially. All kinds of important growth and development occurs before the age of 5 years. Supporting programs that support quality settings for children is essential for growing the future. Having my picture on the Early Childhood Transit bus is a very humbling call to action to continue
speaking out about the huge importance of Early childhood Education in the life of each and every child whether at home or in a program. I am honored and humbled to be on the bus and insisted on having a children's book with me to remind everyone of the importance of Early Education."
Marc Zimmerman, Barry County Substance Abuse. "Early Childhood education plays such a vital role in setting the foundation for a healthy and happy child, and I feel very proud to have been asked to be on the Great Start Collaborative bus."
